Kitchens in Pasadena, CA used unconventional
elements to create this powder room, designed
to refect the client’s childhood memories of
South Africa. Wood-lined walls feature niches that
incorporate African wood sculptures and other
artifacts. The curved-front vanity from Serrao
is covered with faux leather and capped with
chiseled Vicenza limestone. The Kohler Caxton
sink, tall curved-spout faucet fromWatermark
Designs and multi-colored slate fagstone foor
add to the natural feel of the space. An in-wall tank
system from Geberit with Toto toilet fts seamlessly
into the design. Branches act as functional pieces
to hold towels.
Lori W. Carroll, NCIDQ/ASID of Lori Carroll &
Associates in Tucson, AZ, along with co-designers
Guillermo Bazua and Mary Roles, created this
dramatic powder room with Tuscan vibe. The focal
point of the curved space is Kohler’s Serpentine
Bronze design on Conical Bells vessel sink – a
vitreous china sink inscribed with turtles, fsh and
intertwining sea serpents – that sits upon a hand-
carved travertine pedestal. The
sink is complemented by a metal
cantilever shelf and Wherever
Wall Mount Lavatory faucet from
Sonoma Forge. Accentuating the
room’s curves are mosaic tiles
with rope trim from Syzygy. Solid
bronze hanging sconces with
glass globes, Kohler Bancroft
toilet and mirror fnish the space.
Dramatic curves and angles are the statement makers in
this powder room designed by Lori W. Carroll, NCIDQ/ASID and
Mary Roles of Lori Carroll & Associates, in Tucson, AZ. A curved
Morisca quartz countertop with a 6" custom alder apron sweeps
to a center point that supports twin 18" round copper sinks from
Stone Forest. RSVP two-handle lav faucets in Brilliance Brushed
Bronze from Brizo complement the vessels. Echoing the counter
shape is open shelving in each corner, set against frosted glass
tiles in Brown Sugar from Cello. A Kohler Strela toilet sits atop
Giallo Antico travertine fooring, which is featured throughout
the room.
