Lori Carroll & Associates, Tucson, AZ

Located amid a beautiful natural landscape in Marana, AZ, the

master bath in this custom home needed to work with the sce-

nic surroundings yet meet the clients’ desire for a clean, con-

temporary design that would be unique to them. Lori Carroll

of Lori Carroll & Associates in Tucson, AZ, employed a neutral

color palette that proved anything but boring, incorporating a

range of textures, natural stones and rich wood veneers.

Using a curved theme, Carroll added three-dimensional

designs around the room, providing texture that appeals to sight

and touch. She began with the entrance to the room, which incor-

porates three-panel doors with Textured Glass Door Inserts from

Bendheim, opening to a space with VTile II on the walls.

Upon entering the main bath, a curved wall draws toward

the walk-in shower, which is tiled with honed Golden Beach

Limestone. Fittings in the shower – including pieces from

Kallista’s Vir Stil by Laura Kirar collection – provide a luxuri-

ous shower experience.

Along the opposite wall, custom Carbalho cabinetry from

Stone River Studio is paired with Kohler Vintage sinks and

Kallista’s Vir Stil by Laura Kirar Lav Faucets. The shine of

the polished Frequency Onyx countertops re ect light for a

modern look, while Simena Line Textured Limestone in-

stalled vertically on the vanity and tub walls ll the space with

warmth. The Waterworks Freestanding Oval Tub provides

a matte nish, which contrasts well with the shine from the

Dornbracht Tara Floor-Mounted Tub Mixer.

A Kohler Cimarron toilet is tucked out of sight, and the

radiant heated ooring provides an extra touch of luxury.
