bathroom and showroom projects in the industry. Criteria included fulfilling
clients’ requirements; solving design challenges; and incorporating innovative
thinking in the formof aesthetics,function,product usage and technology.
This year’s trends includedmixedmaterials,finishes and textures;bolder colors;
clever storage solutions; floating fixtures; a variety of design styles (ultra contem-
porary hasn’t chasedout traditional just yet);customization for clients (theywant
what they want); no-see-um outlets; and everything frommega-showrooms to
meaningful upgrades to smaller spaces.

distinct passion for architecture and
a strong focus on design.He is well
versed in environmentally sensitive
construction and strives to inte-
grate that knowledge into each of
his projects.He recently completed
an extensive renovation of his own
vintage home, which provided him
with the customers’perspective.He
resides in La Grange with his wife
Trish and their three boys – Tate,
Henry andGraham.
Brandy Souza
is the general
manager of Kitchen Views in New
Bedford,Mass.,andoversees all sev-
en showrooms. As a designer, she
loves working with materials that
remindher of beachvacations –both
Miami exciting and Cape Cod re-
laxing.She draws fromher ability to
design a kitchen tomeet the specific
needs of her clients and bring their
dreamkitchen to life.She combines
her technical expertise with a fine
eye for design and a commitment to
customer satisfaction.
Sheryl Steinberg
LEED Green Associate, is the
owner of Sheryl Steinberg Interior
Design in Bethesda, Md. She has
designed, managed and consulted
on an array of projects, including
residential kitchens and baths and
commercial office spaces. She has
gained an appreciation for the unity
of our natural environment with
our built environment and often
incorporates green design elements
into her spaces.Her training in art
and design and a business back-
ground segue seamlessly to man-
age,budget and create beautiful and
inspiring interiors.
Scott Corridan
is the owner of
Scott Corridan Design with offices
in Incline Village, Nev., and Saint
Helena, Calif. He has designed in-
terior and architectural spaces all
over the world and has produced
many special events and fundrais-
ers for A-list clients.He volunteers
as a ski instructor with Northstar
California Resort and Mammoth
Mountain’s Disabled Sports East-
ern Sierra program and has dedi-
cated time to Canine Companions
for Independence.He lives with his
husbandRuss and their threegolden
retrievers –Duke,Clarice andBuck.
