Since starting at Lori Carroll & Associates in 2018, Josh has brought his knowledge of design, writing and penchant for detail to our team, working diligently to ensure clients are satisfied from start to finish. Raised in Tucson, he graduated from University of Arizona in May 2023 with a degree in Sustainable Built Environments. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family & friends, listening to Taylor Swift, and playing Monopoly with his twin.
With over 44 years of Management, Accounting and Retail Buying Experience, Peggy joined Lori Carroll & Associates in 2022 with a wealth of knowledge. Prior to joining our team, she spent 23 years managing the Accounting Operations and Buying for the Gift Shop and Boutique located at the world- renowned Canyon Ranch Wellness Resort, also working for 16 years in Accounting and Office Management for O’Rielly Chevrolet.
Peggy has 7 Grandchildren that keep her busy outside of work. She also spends as much time as possible in the White Mountains of Arizona hiking, fishing and relaxing.
As the newest member of Lori Carroll & a Associates, Nicole brought her interior design talents to the team in 2022. Her duties ensure we create spectacular spaces. This includes being a liaison to vendors, conducting site visits & completing project management. With a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Interior Design from Northern Arizona University, she has a passion for the business and came ready to learn about all we do. Born & raised in Tucson, Nicole loves riding horses in her free time and is also an enthusiastic volleyball coach for 2 local club teams.
A passion for design, creativity and exemplary customer service brought Tami to LCA where she joined after a 30-year career serving in a leadership capacity at several of Tucson’s top Retail and Resort destinations.
A native of Chicago, Tami was drawn to the beautiful Desert Southwest after studying at the University of Arizona. Upon returning to Tucson, Tami managed the daily operations of the gift shop at the renowned Canyon Ranch Health Resort. From there, she had the privilege of working with some of the finest local businesswomen cultivating and growing their upscale home décor, fashion and gift businesses. This past decade, Tami served as Design Manager on the Leadership Team of the local Pottery Barn and West Elm Showrooms. At LCA, Tami brings her creative vision and attention to detail to supporting the Design Team; from preparing design proposals to sourcing fabulous products and creating design presentations for our clients.
Tami holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of Illinois. On the weekends she and her husband, now empty nesters, spend their time raising their adorable rescue pups, Wrigley & Joey.
A love for interior design and abundance of experience in the field led Andrea to LCA after a 20-year career at numerous design-related businesses.
Originally from The Czech Republic, she moved to Arizona in 1993, always staying connected to her passion for design. After graduating Northern Arizona University with a Bachelors in interior design, she worked at numerous design-related businesses across The Sonoran Desert region. Andrea also fulfilled her dream of becoming an independent designer, starting a firm with her husband, Mar Designs, in 2013. Throughout her time there, she won numerous design awards including 1st Place in the 2019 ASID Design Excellence Awards for commercial product design, commercial singular space design and historical design. Having gained an expertise in SketchUp, AutoCAD and client relations, Andrea has brought her skills to our team. At LCA, she utilizes her rendering skills to demonstrate & visualize layout, scale and finish options to clients in a physical space. Outside of work, she enjoys being with her husband & 2 kids, soaking up the Tucson sunshine on the golf course, oil painting spectacular desert vistas and camping on the outskirts of Prague.
With over 25 years’ experience, Becky brought her wealth of expertise in bookkeeping, accounting and administrative support to LCA.
Born and bred in Tucson, Becky has always kept the desert close, using her extensive knowledge at numerous design and construction related businesses across Southern Arizona including Home Depot, Arizona Commercial Lighting and Civano Nursery. Through her attention to detail and commitment to the craft, she ensures that our administrative and bookkeeping activities are entered in an accurate and timely manner. From pricing products to billing clients, Becky takes pride in supporting Lori and her staff to make certain the many facets of our studio run smoothly. Outside of the office you can find her outdoors; hiking, skiing, biking, swimming and gardening all of which make her feel happy and at peace. She also enjoys spending as much time as possible with her grandkids who keep her feeling young!
After working for one of the nation’s largest home builders, Taylor joined the Lori Carroll & Associates team with background in client services and Interior Design. Taylor holds a bachelor’s degree of Interior Architecture & Design from the University of Idaho, with a Major in Interior Design and a Minor in Architecture. Having a passion to design unique Interiors that will have a positive impact of the lives of others, Taylor brings a creative eye to every project. In her free time Taylor enjoys exploring Tucson’s beautiful outdoors and the city’s culture art and food.

As a graduate of the University of Arizona, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design, Lori has always loved the casual lifestyle the desert has to offer. However, Lori’s unique sense of style goes way beyond any Southwestern stereotypes. Her refined, yet livable interiors are an artistic blend of sophistication and comfort.
Lori continues to make waves throughout the design industry. Her accreditations include being NCIDQ certified, a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and the International Interior Design Association (IIDA), in addition to having a National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) member. From printed publications, industry flyers, or even across the web, you can usually find a glimpse of Lori Carroll somewhere! Her insight and entrepreneurial spirit brought her success. The talent and enthusiasm she has shown over more than 30 years has never diminished. Now, at the pinnacle of her career, her versatility and outstanding reputation draws architects, builders and an astute clientele, all who trust Lori to bring excellence to their projects, both inside and out.
After working with some of Tucson’s most esteemed builders, Kat joined the Lori Carroll & Associates team with an extensive background in client services and interior design. Kat holds a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Interior Design from Rocky Mountain College of Arts & Design, where she studied a variety of curriculum from architecture to graphic design. Her keen sense of design and exceptional drafting and rendering skills take the studio’s client presentations to the next level. As a member of The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), Kat continues to advance her career through continuing education and practical experience. When she isn’t developing her design skills, Kat is a proud dog mom to Wynonna and Coraline.
A key element of success in any interior design business is keeping accurate financial records. Laurie brought her infinite wisdom and experience to Lori Carroll & Associates after a long association as Operations Manager for a local supply company. Laurie has dedicated a career to helping a diverse group of small business owners achieve success through her independent bookkeeping business.
Since Laurie came aboard in 1999, her knowledge of business and accounting procedures has taken Lori Carroll’s company to the next level. Her goal of making sure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner ensures each project, large or small, will be completed in the most effective and efficient way possible. From the beginning of a contract to the end, Laurie carefully reviews and audits every piece of the monetary puzzle to guarantee the highest level of accuracy.
Becky brings 30 years of design experience to Lori Carroll & Associates. Although she has been designing in the valley for years and now calls Tucson her home, her previous landing spot was Kentucky. That’s where she obtained her Bachelor’s in Arts from the University of Louisville with a focus in Art History as well as Architecture and Design. Louisville was graced with her creative talents for over 15 years including the role of Vice President of Design at Bittners where they specialized in residential, commercial and healthcare design. Ten years later she became a partner at Ewald Associates. While at the firm, she traveled to Italy to buy directly from some of the most amazing craftsman. From north of Milan to Florence and Rome, Becky purchased gorgeous accessories, lamps, mirrors and leather goods. With great attention to detail, outstanding communication, and client amazement… Becky, who is an ASID professional, is top in her field.
While design is her passion, making a positive difference in the community is equally important to both Becky and her husband. Such endeavors include being on the board for Salpointe and St. Gregory High School, U of A Museum of Art, Tucson Symphony Women’s Association, Silver and Turquiose, and the Desert Garden Club. She has even been part of the underwriting process of a scholarship for the U of A College of Landscape and Architecture.
Julia is the newest addition to Lori Carroll & Associates. She started in November of 2020 after moving to Arizona, from Michigan, with her husband a month earlier. Julia graduated in the spring of 2020 with an Associate’s Degree in Interior Design and, also, in General Studies. Julia’s tasks at Lori Carroll & Associates currently include AutoCAD, selecting materials and furnishings, assisting in client presentations, marketing, creating Care and Maintenance packets, along with many other things. In her free time, Julia loves any kind of art, traveling and being outdoors.
Karen joined LCA in October 2019 bringing with her over 25 years of executive level support and customer service. “I take a lot of pride in providing excellent administrative support and the highest level of customer service that is reflective of Lori Carroll & Associates.” She has traveled the world most of her life and recently decided to make Tucson her permanent home to be closer to family. Since moving to Tucson, she discovered The Loop and that’s where you’ll find her walking or cycling – rain or shine!
Before coming to work at Lori Carroll & Associates all Alex knew of the interior design field was from seeing a few episodes of the show Designing Women. So, that is to say, he didn’t know anything about interior design.
Then in February 2000 Alex joined Lori Carroll & Associates and stepped into the unique world of interior design. By working with Lori, Alex has tapped into, and become part of a pool of creative energy that is amazing. As a drafter, Alex helps to bring Lori’s creative visions into reality. Alex takes Lori’s initial sketches and transforms them into documents ready to be used by the construction team.
Alex graduated with highest honors from ITT, earning an Associates of Applied Science degree in Computer Aided Drafting Technology. While at ITT he was inducted into the National Vocational Technical Honor Society (NVTHS) and Alpha Beta Kappa (ABK), both of which serve to recognize the achievements of honor students.
Debra joined Lori Carroll & Associates in 2011, bringing more than 25 years experience in a variety of design disciplines including illustration, graphic design, art direction and interior design. Presently, Debra’s responsibilities include assisting with marketing concepts, AutoCAD, materials selection, technical research and assisting in client presentations. Her specialized knowledge of the healthcare field is also a significant benefit to the team. Debra holds a BFA in Communications Design (with honors) from Pratt Institute as well as a BA (with honors) in Interior Design from Southwest University of Visual Arts (formerly Art Center Design College).
